Hydraulic stability of the Basalton is calculated using simplified Steentoets formulas (see Klein Breteler and Mourik, 2013)

The stability coefficients used in the calculation were derived from large-scale model tests conducted at Deltares in the Deltaflume.

In 97% of cases, deviations from Steentoets results are within 10%.

Results of these calculations serve as an indication only and are not suitable for actual design.
